Supervised and executed individual capital and maintenance projects from $10,000 to $100 million. Managed and executed capital expenditure programs with annual spending up to $500 million.

Managed engineering department consisting of up to twenty engineers and technologists, Co-op students, and various engineering contractors in executing projects from two primary locations (Calgary and Lloydminster). Provided leadership, mentoring and guidance to an additional twenty two engineers, technologists, and support staff located in Lloydminster from the Corporate Technical Services group.

Oversaw operations group of forty pipeline personnel and up to fourteen contract personnel. The pipeline system included over 2000 kilometers of pipelines (from 3" to 24" diameter), two major terminals (in excess of 3 million barrels of storage capacity), four pumping stations, and thirty custody transfer units. Prepared and managed operating cost and capital budgets (combined annual value of approximately $60 million).

Prepared and managed annual and five year strategic plans for assigned work groups, ensuring alignment with Company, business unit, and customer(s) goals and objectives.

Participated in and provided technical expertise to incident investigations, equipment failures (Taproot / Loc-In), root cause failure analysis, HAZOP's, value improvement exercises, and constructability reviews.

Developed and implemented emergency response, business continuity, security, and pandemic plans.
